Objectives

AACR will
|

Organize educational programs, including workshops, seminars and conferences, on personal civic responsibility at local, state, and national levels for youth leaders across the United States.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Develop and distribute educational materials on the need for performing individual and collective civic duties to teachers and students in cooperation with educational institutions.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Sponsor regional and national conferences for representatives from higher educational institutions, foundations, and other non-profit organizations on appropriate topics concerning civic responsibility.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Gather and disseminate pertinent information on the performance of civic responsibility by individuals, organizations, and businesses to the general public through print and electronic media.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Promote corporate social responsibilities including customer relations, consumer service, investor protection, and ethical behavior.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Advise and assist corporate social involvement program officers in their domestic and transnational activities.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Provide guidance to those seeking to fulfill their civic and social responsibilities, particularly in times of challenging or trying circumstances, either locally, nationally, or globally.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Design and facilitate appropriate leadership training programs for future leaders of ethnic professionals and entrepreneurs, and emerging immigrant groups.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Engage in other appropriate activities consistent with the mission of AACR.
